LAHORE, Oct 29: Five-goal Hassan Ali Farrukh helped Hattaf Security beat Adisseo 7-6 1/2 in the World Call Polo championship here on Wednesday.

The losing side came out with a slender 2 1/2-2 lead in the first chukker, mainly due to their 1 1/2 goal handicap. Hassan struck back-to-back, but Adisseo’s top scorer Usman Haye maintained the lead by hitting a field goal.

Still Hassan was on song, adding two more in the second chukker, as Hattaf claimed the driving seat 4-3/12 after Usman struck one goal for the losing outfit.

The slim half goal lead remained in the third chukker too as Kasim Ahmed Khan scored twice for the winners and Zeeshan Khan and Usman contributed one each for the losers.

Hassan slammed his fifth goal in the beginning of the fourth chukker to expand the lead 7-5 1/2, before Usman earned his fourth goal but only to reduce the margin.

Meanwhile, Data Hybrid lost both their matches, of two chukkers each.

First Millat Tractors defeated Data 2-1 then Envogue crushed them by a 5-1 1/2 defeat.
