Grapplers triumph in Beach Games

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24: Haider Ali (65kg) and Usman Majid (85kg), of the Pakistan wrestling team, won a gold and bronze medal, respectively, in the ongoing 1st Asian Beach Games at Bali, Indonesia on Friday.

An official press release of Pakistan Sports Board said that Haider defeated an Indonesian wrestler in the final match.

A 41-member Pakistan contingent is participating in the ongoing beach games competing in six disciplines — bodybuilding, wrestling, kabbadi, handball, sailing and volleyball.
