Javaid Shaheen remembered

MUZAFFARGARH, Oct 24: The district council on Friday offered Fateha for renowned poet Javaid Shaheen who passed away on Thursday.

On this occasion, district council officials paid tribute to Shaheen, who also worked as chief officer of the Muzaffargarh district council from 1990 to 1991.

Malik Toukeer said Shaheen was an excellent officer and a very kind person. During his tenure as chief officer, he arranged many ‘mushairas’ in Muzaffargarh.

Yaseen Khan said Shaheen was best friend of all his subordinates.

Noor Ahmad said Shaheen once said he would not forget this district because of its sincere people.

Acting District Nazim Malik Allahdad Khar was also present.
