DADU, Oct 24: A man killed his sister and her daughter in Khad village of Mehar taluka on Friday.
Zahid Hussain Depar went to the house of his sister, Mukhtar Khatoon, 34, and asked for Rs10,000 loan which she refused to give him.
In a fit of anger, Zahid opened indiscriminate fire, killing Mukhtar and her daughter Ajmi alias Bakhtawar.
The police took the bodies to Mehar taluka hospital for autopsy and later handed them over to relatives.
Mehar police on the complaint of Mukhtar’s husband Haroon Depar have registered a double murder case against Zahid and his cousin Mehmood Depar.
The latter is accused of helping Zahid commit the crime.
