MITHI, Oct 18: Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro hunted deer near a border village of Thar recently, reliable sources told Dawn.

According to the sources, Mr Khuhro made the hunting trip in Nagarparkar.

He was accompanied by MPAs Sharjeel Memon, Mir Babu Talpur, Shafique Shah, Minister Agha Taimoor and MNA Rafiq Jamali.

After staying at the house of a landlord for some time, the speaker proceeded to Nagarparkar for hunting.

He reportedly fired at a flock of deer near Birau village, along the border with India.

One deer fled while a wounded one was slaughtered by the party.

The sources said orderlies of several Arab princes have started establishing hunting camps in Nagarparkar in preparation for the winter hunting season.
