ATC sends Wajahat force men to jail

GUJRANWALA, Sept 22: The local anti-terrorism court No 1 on Monday sent as many as 25 activists of the Wajahat force from Gujrat to the Central Jail on judicial remand. The court ordered their production (in court) on Sept 29.

They were arrested from different parts of Gujrat district during the last week on charges of murder, possession of illegal weapons, kidnap for ransom and land grab.

The accused are stated to be workers of MNA Ch Wajahat Hussain, brother of PML-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain. —Correspondent
