34 more deportees arrive from Turkey

RAWALPINDI, Sept 3: A fresh batch of 34 illegal Pakistani immigrants deported by the Turkish authorities reached Islamabad airport on Wednesday.

A senior official of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said among the deportees was a 14-year-old boy. Thirty-two of the deportees belonged to the Gujranwala division, while one each hailed from Multan and Faisalabad. All the deportees were later handed over to the FIA’s passport cell for further investigation.

The teenager, Mohammad Usman, was thought to be proceeding to his father, who is already in Greece. Usman was captured by the Turkish authorities for entering into the country illegally.— Staff Reporter
