LAHORE: Pepco ‘relief’

Published September 4, 2008

LAHORE, Sept 3: In line with the government directions, the Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) has made effective arrangements for continuous power supply on domestic feeders from 4am to 6am and 7pm to 9:30pm for Sehr and Iftar, respectively.

This facility is meant for domestic feeders, while the rest of the feeders, including commercial, agricultural etc. would be subjected to scheduled loadshedding as per previous practice.

The domestic consumers were supplied uninterrupted power supply during the aforesaid hours on Tuesday through domestic feeders. Pepco has made it clear that if power suspension was experienced on any domestic feeder, it was due to local technical fault and not because of loadshedding.
