KARACHI, Aug 30: Seven ships carrying containers and to load ethanol and molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Star Kappa to unload imported wheat, Blida to load cement and New Delhi Express to unload and load containers were berthed on Saturday.

Sailing was active as seven ships, Eric. G. Gibson, Rhoneborg, Thent Ocean, Sea Princess, Lalazar, Don Franc Bulic and Sapphire-T departed, while Neptune, Berdyansk, Bavaria Express and Blida are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 73,148 tons comprising 34,505 tons of export cargo and 38,643 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday: E.C. E-A to load 8,400 tons of molasses, Omega King with jet oil and high-speed diesel, Atagun to load ethanol, India Express, Deja Bhum, Kota Puri and Hyundai Baran with containers.
