Eight injured in Quetta

QUETTA, Aug 24: Eight people were injured, one of them seriously, in a hand grenade attack in the Sabzal road area here late on Sunday night.

According to police, the grenade was hurled on people sitting outside their homes in the Essa Nagri area.

Capital City Police Officer Mohammad Akbar told Dawn that one of the injured people was in serious condition.

Soon after the blast, police rushed to the place and shifted the injured to the Bolan Medical College Hospital.
