Karachi races postponed until Tuesday
KARACHI, Aug 3: The weekly Gymkhana race meeting which was scheduled to take place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday was postponed due to constant rains in the city since Saturday night.
“The races will now be held on Tuesday weather permitting,” a spokesman for the KRC told Dawn.
He informed that the track was good enough for racing but the outer field, parking area were inundated after rain.
The horses, he said, have undergone track work on the main track at least for one hour on Sunday.—AZ
