KARACHI, July 26: Prodigy Sana Erum proved her mettle when she clinched a double crown in the ongoing Islamia Club Juniors’ Open table tennis tournament at their premises on Saturday.

Sana, a 10th grade student in Jamia Millia School, topped the single league in girls’ under-15 and under-18 categories to claim honours.

Meanwhile, the boys’ under-12, under-15 and under-18 events have reached the semi-finals stage.

As far as boys’ under-18 event is concerned, all the top four seeds Usman Ahmed, Ahmed Aslam, Mustafa Jamali and Sulaman Shahid have made it to the last four.

Similarly, in the boys’ under-15 singles, Tabish Khurshid, Durraiz Vazeer, Rehan Lari and Aahil Shah have made it to the semi-finals.

Almost all the top juniors boys and girls of the city including the young camp trainees are competing in the event which concludes on Monday.
