KC pairs bridge

KARACHI, June 25: The two-day annual Karachi Club pairs bridge tournament begins at the KC premises on Friday, the organisers announced on Wednesday.

As many as 42 pairs have already entered the contest which carries a total prize money of Rs 25,000, secretary of the club, Raza Naqvi said.

According to him, the winning pair will earn Rs 10,000 while runners-up and third position holders will receive Rs 7,500 and Rs 5,000 respectively. Cash prizes up to fifth positions will be awarded.—Sports Correspondent
