LAHORE, June 10: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is holding a three-day orientation session for all its panel umpires in Faisalabad and Karachi from June 11 to 16.

The session would enable the umpires in getting familiarised with all the modern umpiring aspects in cricket.

They will also be guided about the extensive use of code of conduct and the latest amendments in the law.

The first orientation session will be held on June 11 at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

A total number of 78 umpires from Abbottabad, Azad Kashmir, Buner Charsadda, D.I. Khan, Faisalabad, Kasur, Kohat, Lahore, Mardan, Muridke, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Islamabad and Jhang will attend the course in Faisalabad with former umpires Mahboob Shah, Said Shah, Azhar Hussain and Khizar Hayat as the faculty members.

The second orientation session will be held at the National Stadium, Karachi, from June 16 to 18.

A total number of 39 umpires from D.M. Jamali, Dadu, Hyderabad, Karachi, Loralai, Quetta, Lodhran, Shikarpur, Sibi, Thatta, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Multan and D.G. Khan will be attending the session to also be conducted by Mahboob Shah, Said Shah and Khizar Hayat along with Ferozuddin Butt.
