RAWALPINDI, May 17: Punjab Teacher Union has announced to setup hunger strike camp at Aabpara Chowk from June 3 if their salaries were not increased in accordance with rising inflation in the country.

President Punjab Teachers Union District Rawalpindi Dr Saghir Alam told mediamen that the hunger strike would continue till death.

On June 04, he said, the teachers unions comprising more than 8,00000 teachers in the country would devise future protest campaign against government. He said that the teachers are still without incentives and packages announced by Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.—Online
