PESHAWAR: Peshawar jolted

PESHAWAR, May 12: An earthquake of moderate intensity measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was recorded here on Monday.

According to the preliminary analysis of metrological station Peshawar, the earthquake originated at 1:57pm and its epicentre was about 300 kilometres north of Peshawar in the Hindukush region.

Tremors were also felt in Abbottabad and other adjacent areas. — APP
