KARACHI, April 29: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers, diesel oil and phosphoric acid were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, two more ships carrying containers and palm oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, Maersk Missouri, Leopard-B, Nova Noor, Giovanna Luliano, Endeavor-I, Overseas Rein mar, Chemroad Haya and Kaghan, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil, diesel oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 98,307 tons comprising 80,443 tons of import and 17,864 tons of export tonnage was handled.

N.S Commander and Maersk Missouri sailed out while Overseas Rein Mar and Endeavor-I were expected to depart.
