ISLAMABAD, April 25: The Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) arranged a photographic exhibition here on Friday to mark 60 years of diplomatic relation between Pakistan and Russia.

The event was organised by the embassy of Russian Federation, Itar-Tass news agency of Russia and the PNCA. Russsian ambassador Sergey Peskov was chief guest on the occasion.

The exhibition showcased more than 80 photographs depicting the Russian worship style, their way of living, architecture, mosques and others.

Some of the images at the display were based on the photos of the head of states from both the countries and the Russian efforts for relief supply in earthquake-affected areas of Pakistan.

According to organisers of the event, the exhibition aims at introducing Russian culture among the Pakistani youth.

Mr Peskov on the occasion said: “The celebratioins of the diplomatic relations remind us the common history between the two countries”.—APP
