LAHORE, April 24: Federal Labour Minister Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah has said that the government will make efforts to increase the salaries of employees of government and semi-government departments and autonomous bodies in the federal budget.
Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Workers Federation (PWF) which called on him on Thursday, he said the democratic government was making efforts for the welfare of workers and marginalised sections of society.
The workers should also cooperate with the government and support its policies. —Reporter
