TOBA TEK SINGH, April 24: The negligence of the Faisalabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education may cost ninth class students an academic year.

It has been learnt there are serious mistakes in roll number slips issued to students for their annual exam. For instance, the roll number slip of ninth class student Zubair shows he was born in 1920 and now he was 88. Similarly, the roll number slip of Osama shows he was born on January 1, 2007 and now he was just one year and a few months. Moreover, dozens of students have missing or wrong entries.

On the other hand, parents of ‘affected’ students have demanded that the board correct these mistakes in roll number slips on an emergency basis.
