Chinese foreign minister due tomorrow


BEIJING, April 23: Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day visit on Friday.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Salman Bashir said here on Wednesday that during his visit Mr Jiechi would call on President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi and political leadership of Pakistan.

The foreign minister will review progress on talks held between President Musharraf and the Chinese leaders during the president’s recent visit to China.—APP
