HYDERABAD: Villager Complains of land occupation

Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, April 22: A resident of Goth Bakhar Bhutto near Moro, district Naushahro Feroze, has claimed that the Jatois have occupied his 10 acres of land and warned if its possession was not restored to him within five days he would stage a protest sit-in on Moro bypass with members of his community.

He said if any harm came to him or his community, he will lodge an FIR against the Jatois.

Mohammad Saleem Bhutto was addressing a news conference at the press club here on Tuesday.

He said that his father, Abdul Latif Bhutto, was one of the founder members of the PPP and its general secretary of district Naushahro Feroze chapter.

Saleem said that when the Jatois founded their own party, political differences developed and he and his other family members were victimised by them.

He said all male members of his family were sent to jail and 10 acres of land survey No.387, 388, 393 in Moro which was in the name of his mother and uncle was forcibly occupied by the Jatois.

He said due to the influence of the Jatois he could not get back the possession of his land.

He claimed that he had also met Ms Benazir Bhutto at Bilawal House who assured him that when the PPP came into power, the possession of his land would be restored to him.

He appealed to Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani and the Sindh chief minister to provide him justice.
