KARACHI, April 22: Seven ships to load/offload containers, cement, palm oil, diesel oil and chemicals arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA a press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three ships were accommodated berths. A total of seven vessels, Maersk Virginia, Sibi, Earth Song, Nan Hai, Arius, Sabarimala and Barcelona Bright, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, palm oil, coal, diesel oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 73,617 tons comprising 58,266 tons of import and 15,351 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Arius and Maersk Virginia leave the port.
