Exercise with Turkey begins

ISLAMABAD, April 21: A multi-dimensional joint exercise — Indus Viper — by the PAF and the Turkish Air Force began on Monday.

A TAF contingent arrived with five F-16 C/D aircraft and 50 personnel at the PAF Base Mushaf in Sargodha to participate in the 10-day exercise.

Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (operations) Air Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman said the event marked the beginning of a new era with the air forces of the two countries. He said TAF had always lived up to its esteemed traditions and earned a well-deserved name in the ranks of modern air forces.—Our Reporter
