Only one place for burns treatment in Sindh interior
HYDERABAD, April 19: The burns unit of the Liaquat University Hospital is the only place in the interior of Sindh where patients with serious burn injuries are provided medical treatment.
This was said by speakers at a workshop on “Golden Hour Trauma and Burns Management” organised by the department of plastic surgery and burns unit of the Liaquat University of Health and Medical Sciences on Saturday. It was presided over by the university’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Noshad Ahmed Shaikh.
Golden hour means the first hour after burns on which depends the survival of a patient who has received serious burn injuries.—Bureau
