Nazim wants state land vacated

HYDERABAD, April 18: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil has requested the Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) to get 197 acres of land valued at Rs5 billion vacated from possession of armed people.

According to contents of the communication sent to revenue official 197 acres of state land in Qasimabad taluka out of which 80 acres have been transferred to New Sabzi Mandi by Land Utilisation have been occupied by unknown persons who are armed with deadly weapons.

The matter was reported to him by Mukhtiarkar taluka Qasiambad that land in question on survey nos 190 and191 in

Deh Sari has been occupied forcibly.

The occupants belonged to Magsi tribe of Jhal Magsi, Balochistan, said the mukhtiarkar said. He said that situation warranted immediate intervention of the government as it could lead to law and order situation.—Correspondent
