KARACHI, Apr 15: Four ships to load and offload containers, rice, general cargo and diesel oil arrived at the outer anchorage during last 24 hours.

Seven ships, Maersk Georgia, Shadwan Island, Donna-V, Theoniki, Chembulk Ulsan, Artistry and Cerigo, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, fertiliser, wheat, palm oil and crude oil.

A cargo volume of 84,417 tons comprising 70,883 tons of import and 13,534 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Artistry and Maersk Georgia sailed out while Chembulk Ulsan was due to depart.
