KARACHI, April 14: Six ships carrying containers and coal are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity on the wharves was active where a dozen ships notably Lucky Arrow to load cement, Gulf Bridge, Armis, St. Irene, Gentle, Oel Spirit to unload and load containers, Pacific Primate to offload wheat, Hong Ze Hu, Chembul Ulsan and Johar, oil tankers, were accommodated berths.
Sailing was also active as 12 vessels departed including APL Tulip, Y.M. Inauguration, Nordwege, Hansa Liberty, Gulf Bridge, Armis, St. Irene, Pacific Arrow, Lalazar, Chembul Ulsan and Creek departed after loading general cargo and containers.
Al-Rahalah-1, Lucky Arrow, Hong Ze Hu, Oel Spirit, Maria-1, Chemstar Brave, Johar and Loa are expected to depart on Tuesday.
A total tonnage of 0.294m tons comprising 69,669 tons of export cargo including 12,937 tons of cement and1,625 tons of sugar and 0.224m tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.
The following ships are due on Tuesday; Cape Negro, Filippa, APL Pusan, As Mars with containers, Antwerp Ace and Sahar with coal.
