Three boys hurt in hand-grenade explosion

By Saleem Shahid

QUETTA, April 13: A hand-grenade hurled on children playing cricket and football in the Ayub Stadium on Sunday, causing injuries to three boys.

Police sources told Dawn that the grenade, thrown from the Jail road area, landed among the children.

The injured, identified as Mohammad Jan Marri, Saleem Raza and Hasan, were taken to the civil hospital.

“It was a locally-made grenade thrown from the Jail road direction,” the sources said.
