Sarki shifted to Quetta hospital

QUETTA, April 12: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz secretary-general Dr Safdar Sarki was shifted from the Zhob district jail to civil hospital in Quetta on Saturday.

Dr Sarki, who had been shifted to the Zhob district jail from Hub on Nov 7, had not been feeling well for quite some time. On Tuesday, JSQM activists led by its chairman Bashir Ahmed Qureshi held a demonstration outside the building of the Balochistan assembly for the release of Dr Sarki. The protesters asked the government to provide medical treatment to him.—Correspondent
