ATTOCK, April 11: District Police Officer (DPO) Tariq Hanif Joiya has asked banks, jewellers, money changers and other traders to install surveillance cameras in their offices/centres within 15 days.

He issued these instructions in a special meeting with all stakeholders at the district police headquarters, which was also attended sub-divisional police officers and station house officers (SHOs).

The DPO asked the bank managers to ensure presence of required number of guards inside and outside the banks, saying that special police teams would check the strength during surprise visits.

Similar, instructions were also issued to jewellers, traders and owners of business centres.
