KARACHI, April 11: Three ships carrying containers, wheat and furnace oil, were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, two more containers ships also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Ibn Sina, Ataqa, Steel Might, Theoniki, Al-Soor-II and Sea Lion, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, diesel oil and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 57,324 tons comprising 47,816 tons of import and 9,508 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Al-Soor-II and Ibn Sina left the port.
