KARACHI, April 10: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers, diesel oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.Meanwhile, two more ships carrying crude oil and containers also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Inori, Ataqa, Steel Might, Skua, Al-Soorr-II, Sinar Agra and Lady Giovi, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat diesel oil, chemicals and coal.

A cargo volume of 93,410 tons comprising 84,100 tons of import and 9,310 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was also active as Inori, Skua, Sinar Agra and Lady Giovi departed while Al-Soor-II was due to depart.
