KARACHI: Man held for attacking Arbab

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, April 9: Dr Agha Javed Pathan, who manhandled former Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, was arrested and booked in four different cases by the Preedy police.

Officials said that Dr Pathan was arrested on Wednesday morning near JJ Hospital, Saddar.

They said the police seized an unlicensed pistol, a small quantity of hashish, and the stolen motorcycle he was riding and booked him in three different cases.

The officials said Dr Pathan was also booked for manhandling the ex-CM on the complaint of the Sindh Assembly secretary. They said the suspect was initially grilled by the investigation police, but was later handed over to the Anti-violent Crime Unit for interrogation.
