LAKKI MARWAT: Missile defused in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT, April 9: Tajori police averted a sabotage attempt by defusing a missile near the irrigation colony in Malang Adda locality here on Wednesday.

“Some miscreants had planted a missile in the bed of River Gambila and had connected it with a stopwatch with an intention of committing a sabotage act,” DSP Naurang circle Umar Faraz Khattak told.

It is to be mentioned here that the river flows alongside the irrigation colony and personnel of the Frontier Constabulary have established a checkpoint near it on Tajori link road.
