Clarification
ISLAMABAD, April 8: Pakistan People’s Party spokesman Farhatullah Babar on Tuesday clarified a news item published in Dawn headlined “FM hints at lifting curbs on Dr Qadeer” and said it was not correct to say that Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s statement did not reflect the government’s policy.
He said the newly elected government could take a decision regarding relaxing restrictions on Dr Khan. “I was not aware if any such decision had indeed been taken,” he added.
