RAWALPINDI, April 7: An anti-terrorism court here on Monday directed the superintendent of Adiala jail to ensure the presence of five suspects held in two suicide bomb blast cases before the court on April 29.
The judge, Chaudhry Habibur Rehman has been hearing the cases in the Adiala jail due to the sensitivity of the matter but on Monday the jail authorities informed him that on the directives of the home department the accused had been transferred to a sub- jail in Lahore in connection with the investigations being conducted into the recent suicide bomb blasts in the provincial capital.
The judge directed the jail superintendent to make it sure that the accused, Faisal Mushtaq and his brother Qasim Mushtaq; Fasiullah, Imdadullah and Tehseen Abbasi, were produced before the court in the jail on the next hearing.
