Punjab win
LAHORE, April 6: Punjab defeated Police 8-5 in the final to win the seventh National Women softball championship here on Sunday.
For Punjab, Asifa, Amina, Fauzia, Nazia and Shamsa played well and added one run each. For Police, Razia and Sajida were outstanding.
Earlier, the NWFP earned the third spot defeating Balochistan 12-6. Amina of Punjab was declared as the best fielder and pitcher of the championship.
