KARACHI, April 6: The duo of Sajid Vali and Shehroz Silat won the KC doubles handicap snooker tournament inflicting 3-2 defeat on the pair of Abdul Wahid Shaikh and Rasheed Suleman in the final on Sunday.

The winners romped home 64-54, 87-60, 62-73, 52-70, 88-33.

The two pairs stormed into the final after disposing of their opponents in the pre-finals earlier in the day.

Results:

Semi-finals: Abdul Wahid Shaikh/ Rasheed Suleman bt Asadullah/Tariq Ashraf 3-2 (76-40, 57-81, 71-39, 17-58, 64-44); Sajid Vali/Shehroz Silat bt Farhan Majeed/Yasir Yaqoob 3-2 (71-41, 57-37, 18-65, 72-79, 69-49).

Final: Sajid Vali/Shehroz Silat bt Abdul Wahid Shaikh/Rasheed Suleman 3-2 (64-54, 87-60, 62-73, 52-70, 88-33).
