ISLAMABAD, April 6: President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Mohammad Ijaz Abbasi has appreciated the role of Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) in promotion of trade and economic ties among the member states.

He stated this during a meeting with commissioner Muslim Excellence and Competitiveness Corporations Award (MECCAWARD) Mohammad Reza Mirza.

The ICCI chief said those countries which were bringing changes in their business setup in accordance with international requirements were fetching more profits.

He emphasised that technology upgradation was every much required to produce high standard and quality products for exports.

Mr Abbasi said OIC and Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry were playing important role for progress and prosperity of the Ummah. —APP
