KARACHI, April 5: Abdul Wahid Shaikh and Rasheed Suleman struggled into the semi-finals of the KC doubles handicap snooker tournament when they overcame Asim Ghani and Dileep Perwani in five frames here on Friday.

The winners squandered a 2-1 lead to be tied 2-2 before bouncing back to claim the decisive frame and the match.

The scores were: 30-60, 84-1, 71-44, 31-66, 78-48.

Three more pairs — Sajid Wali and Shehroz Silat, Farhan Majeed and Yasir Yaqoob and Asadullah and Tariq Ashraf also made it to the last-four stage.
