KARACHI, April 4: Six ships carrying containers and to load molasses and clinkers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Hanjin Qingalao, Harmony, Jurong Bebaru to unload and load containers and Java Cement to load cement were berthed after the departure of three.

The departing ships were led by Oel Trust, Al-Wakra and Johar, while Sea Master, Harmony, An Shun Jiang, Jurong Bebaru, Chemroad Wing, Champion Todar, Hanjin Qingalao, Java Cement and Orient Stride are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.115m tons comprising 49,452 tons of export and 65,034 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Noor-e-Madina to load 16,600 tons of cement clinkers, Lady Chitra to load 26,000 tons of molasses, Bunga Kenari, Y.M. Moji, Oel Sheryas and Conti Germany with containers.
