PESHAWAR, March 31: As expected, the entire team of officers, who had served under the previous MMA government at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, was changed on Monday, a day before Amir Haider Khan Hoti is declared elected unopposed as the chief minister.

A notification issued by the establishment and administration department said Mohammad Asif Khan (DMG BS-20), principal secretary to chief minister, had been transferred and posted as provincial coordinator, Project Management Unit, National Programme of Improvement and Lining of Watercourses Project.

Tarik Jamil (DMG BS-19), secretary for higher education, archives and libraries, has been posted as the new principal secretary to chief minister in his own pay and scale.

Waqarul Hassan (DMG BS-19), project director of the Barani Area Development Project, has been transferred and posted as special secretary to chief minister in his own pay and scale.

Manzoor Ahmad (PCS SG BS-18), deputy secretary (administration), Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has been posted as PSO to chief minister in addition to his present duties till further orders, relieving Qaiser Alam, director (protocol), of the additional charge.

Shah Jehan (BS-18) has been posted as private secretary-I to chief minister and Javed Khaki (information officer BS-18) press secretary to chief minister.

Sahib Shah (PCS SG BS-17) has been transferred and posted as private secretary-II to chief minister by replacing Azam Khan (PCS SG BS-17), who will now serve as section officer, home and tribal affairs department.
