LARKANA, March 20: The chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Thursday that workers were the real asset of the party whom he could not forget, and added, that his doors are always open for the people.

Talking to a delegation of PPP Larkana district which called on him at the Naudero house, Mr Bilawal pledged to accomplish the mission of his mother Benazir Bhutto, Larkana PPP’s media cell told Dawn.

He said the PPP was the party of poor, downtrodden and labourers, where all were equal.

The delegation included MPA-elect Munawwar Abbasi and former MNAs Anwar Bhutto and Khalid Iqbal Memon. MPA-elect Agha Siraj Durrani, MNA Ramesh Lal and former district nazim Larkana Khursheed Ahmed Junejo were also present.

Early in the morning, Mr Bilawal along with his aunt Sanam Bhutto and some party leaders went to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto and offered fateha on the graves of his mother Benazir Bhutto, grandfather Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and maternal uncles Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto.

They placed floral wreaths on their graves. Afterwards, he retuned to Naudero and later flew to Karachi via Sukkur.
