ISLAMABAD, March 14: Pakistan tennis players Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan with two new players will try to upgrade their rankings from Group-III of Asia, Davis Cup to Group-II this year in Tehran. The Asian Davis Cup Group-III will be held in Tehran on April 9-15.

Talking to Dawn, Hameed ul Haq former coach of the national tennis team said that the two players have already been selected while the other two will be selected from five day trails

He hoped that if Pakistani tennis players win some matches in the current event then Pakistan will be able to play for Group-II of Asia, Davis Cup in 2009.

Hameed ul Haq added that announcement for the squad will be made on April 25.

Following players are appearing in five-day trails: Asim Shafique, Shehzad Khan, Jalil Khan, Yasir Khan, Abid Ali, Tanvir and Jibran.
