Five injured in explosion

QUETTA, March 14: Five pro-government Bugti tribesmen were injured in an explosion in Dera Murad Jamali on Friday.

Sources said a convoy of five vehicles of tribal elder Abdul Rehman Bugti was going to a village in Nasirabad district when the bomb exploded. Five men in one of the vehicles were injured. They were taken to the Civil Hospital in Dera Murad Jamali where the condition of two of them was said to be serious.

“It was a remote-controlled bomb attached to a bicycle,” a police officer said, adding that the tribal elder was safe.—Correspondent
