LARKANA, March 9: Veteran communist leader comrade Sobho Gianchandani has praised the services of comrade Taj Mohammed Abro and said that he was a great supporter of the cause of workers and peasants.

Speaking as chief guest at a literary sitting marking the 22nd death anniversary of comrade Abro he said Abro was a sessions judge but he preferred to live as a common man.

Comrade Sobho said that Abro was his friend and his services could not be forgotten in the field of literature.

Sindhi Adabi Sangat Secretary General Zulfikar Siyal said that Abro had founded the Sangat in Larkana.

He was a friend of G.M. Syed, Z.A. Bhutto, and comrade Haidar Bakhsh Jatoi and was a multi-dimensional personality, Siyal added.
