LONDON, March 4: Two teenage boys face jail sentences after admitting killing a man in a row over a sweet wrapper.
Evren Anil, 23, died from serious head injuries after being punched to the floor after confronting the pair, who had thrown the chocolate bar wrapper through the window of his sister’s car in Crystal Palace, south London, last year. He died eight days later after falling into a coma. One of the boys pleaded guilty to manslaughter and knife possession at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.—Reuters
