KARACHI, March 3: Four Karachi teams have qualified for the final rounds of the Inter-university Basketball tournament which begins at Punjab University, Lahore, from Wednesday.

Karachi University topped zone ‘F’ beating Iqra University 63-19 in the final played in the city while Greenwich University carved out 52-26 victory over NED University in the zone ‘H’ final played at Mehran University, Sindh the other day.

Daniyal H. Rizvi (23) and Ali Ahmed (20) were instrumental in Greenwich University’s fourth successive title win.

Meanwhile, teams of the Karachi and NED universities left separately for Lahore by train on Monday.
