SHEIKHUPURA, March 3: A pileup claimed one life, left 30 others injured and halted traffic for an hour on Motorway near Kala Shah Kaku on Monday.

The accident occurred due to a thick fog and ensuing poor visibility. Dozens of vehicles, including cars, coasters and trucks, collided with each other. Liaquat whose car had collided with a truck died there.

Some thirty other passengers sustained injuries. Several motorists trapped in the traffic jam said when they rang helpline, no service was provided to them.
